Sky Family - A Cake in the Oven
"Mama?" piped little Daphnes from his chair, upon which he sat backwards on his knees with his arms on the back.
Zelda turned, placing the cup of sugar she was about to pour into the mixing bowl back on the countertop. "What is it, Daphnes?"
"I've got a question." The six-year-old furrowed his brow in deep thought. "If grown-ups come from kids, and kids come from babies..." he returned his gaze to his mother. "...then where do the babies come from?"
Nearly dropping her wooden spoon in shock, Zelda froze. Goddesses, she knew this question would be asked one day - she just hadn't thought it'd be asked so soon! Turning her head to hide

The World Is Ugly But You're Beautiful To Me 8.
It was Friday. My last chance. I needed to get them to realize that it was Ben who had done it not me. I didn't want to go to jail for something I didn't do. It's not right. It was 7am and I had an hour to get to school so I could have the extra 30 minutes to talk to Mr. Williams and Ben about this. I got washed and dressed just like every day but today was different, I had a good feeling about today.. Which is never good for me. I got to school and seen Ben so I went over to him. "Hey Ben, I want to talk to to you" he turned at looked over at me
"Why would I want to talk to you?"
"Because I know what happen that night, and the night of my
Curtis gulps as he scans the cream structure before him. Soft red velvet cushions his sneakers. He tugs at his beanie, obscuring any sign of his trademark green, leaving only blonde tips in sight.
He has finally, finally got a day off from work. A day off from being Pokemon Idol Christoph, a day off from the cameras and media. So where was he spending it?
Among the cameras and media.
It wasn’t by choice. He wanted to spend it fishing, or maybe visiting the Nimbasa City amusement park. Take in the world from the Ferris wheel. But he wanted to spend time with her above all else.
That’s how he ended up in front of the cinema at P

Zelink Family - Midnight Snack
They say that parents quickly learn to attend to the cries of their children. This would explain why Link, who was known for his heavy sleeping and who was quite a challenge to wake up in the mornings, instantly shot open his eyes when he heard little Daphnes' familiar wail. Of course, Zelda had heard it, too, but they had established that, barring circumstances, they would alternate taking care of the little boy when he cried in the night, and she had been the one to do it the night before.
After sitting up and rubbing the sleep away from his eyes, Link gave his wife a look signifying that he had the situation under control (or so he hope

Zelink Family - Father's Sword
Daphnes always knew that his father was the greatest swordsman in the whole wide world. He'd grown up watching him spar with other knights from Skyloft, wielding the well-crafted steel blade issued to all knights with skill and grace. Whenever he saw his father with that sword in his hand, he could tell that the stories he'd heard about him being a hero were all true.
Something the boy had always noticed, however, was that knights of Skyloft would usually take great pride in their swords, often displaying them and keeping them well-maintained. His father kept his own sword usable, but he never seemed to pay it very much attention otherwis

Zelink Family - Warm and Cozy
Daphnes pressed his face against the glass window that separated the warmth of his home from the blistery cold outside. His small breaths causing fog, he stared bewildered by the sight outside. He had seen snow in Faron Woods before, but never this much! The trees, the rocks, even their own house seemed to be half buried in the cold white powder - yet Mommy and Daddy did not let him go outside to play in it, and he couldn't understand why.
He also couldn't understand why he had to wear his itchy pajamas; a thick, wooly outfit that covered every inch of him but his head. It was something Skyloftian children wore for most of the autumn and
"Come on, sweetie," muttered Zelda worriedly as she once again brought her two-week-old son's lips to her nipple, "eat something for Mommy, okay?"
Little Daphnes weakly opened his mouth out of instinct, his eyes drooping shut as he fought the urge to sleep. When he latched on just barely, Zelda sighed a little, smiling in relief. He suckled slowly for a moment, then let go, causing his mother's smile to fall once again.
"Daphnes, please," she said desperately, trying one last time to get him to latch on, "you need to eat..."
However, Daphnes' weariness won out; without the strength to keep feeding, he fell asleep, his head lolling agains

Zelink Family - Protect It With Your Life
It was only fitting that one of the very first surface-born children, who would have spent the majority of their lives on the land below and have few ties to the skies above, loved to explore. The vast wilderness of this surface world had so much to offer young Daphnes, a lad of barely fifteen, and he took every opportunity he could to venture out of his parents' sight and experience everything he could. He would wander into the deep forests near his home in Faron Woods and peek inside the underground dungeons his father had once traversed, and even go treasure hunting underneath Eldin Volcano with his Uncle Ledd (although he'd gotten in tr
I've seen a blind woman
Growing cold outside,
An older image of
Our younger selves.
She wears a shard of mirror
And a broken sword
Screaming "Look at yourself!"
She is the scales; she is the statue,
She is what we should have always been,
But she has long since been replaced by greed.
This eternal rain of dust has fallen
Down upon the scales,
And they're broken,
Rusted, and brown...
Falling down
What gives you the right to
Take life away?
In the dawning of our darkest hour,
Who says what's right?
What gives us the right to
Take life away?
While these images are cutting through
A cloudless September sky.

Watching the Stars - Chapter Four
Mei let out a sigh of relief and quietly shut the door behind her. Thankfully, she hadn’t messed that interview up, even though she was convinced she was going to choke on the surrounding air. It was going perfectly until the interviewer asked one slightly sensitive question—do you know what happened to you father?—and the atmosphere hit rock bottom.
Sweat coated her skin and her hair stuck to the back of her neck. She knew she shouldn’t have been that fazed, and the interviewer probably hadn’t know what damage he was doing. It had been years since her father had been mentioned. What happened that day, ten year
